Best fee registry cleaner

PC is running better than ever with only freeware programs installed. And I feel better myself, not having to spend a truckload of money on software. Today I'm going to pick the best free registry cleaner, but I must say I'm looking for a freeware program that actually does more than cleaning the registry.
I've been using Easy Cleaner for a few years now, but now I've given up on it. It didn't develop as it should have. And more: you can't download the latest version from the author's website unless you pay around 20 dollars. That's kinda weird, so I'm not going to use it anymore.

Fortunately I found a freeware program that does about the same thing better: it's CCleaner. It cleans up the registry (it makes a backup first if you want to), removes temporary files associated with Windows and other applications, manages your start-up programs and has a very good uninstaller too, a lot faster than the one in Windows' Control Panel.
